Sad, but we all have to start somewhere. It's a good thing she has a friend like you to help her out. you should get her to join the forum and learn alittle about having a pet bird.

As a separate note, I really wish pet stores would ban sales of animals to people under 18. Or at least have full parental consent (though, most of us know that even that isn't enough... *sigh*)

if you click edit for individual posts it lets you delete the post... but im not sure if you can do it for a whole thread, as you cant delete others' posts on here...
