My Hubby just build me a bird room addition to the back of our house. What type of heat is recommended ? Last night it got down to 48 here, and the bird room was a little chilly this morning. It is well insulated, but I will need to heat it. Is the electric radiator heater that is filled with oil safe ?

American Bulldog Mix,
It's initially up to your bird, I wouldn't go below 68 though. Personally, my RFM likes the room to be 75-80 if it's 70 she shivers. Then again she likes extremely hot showers, just like me too. lol

Thanks the oil filled radiator is what I wanted to use for the fire safety. I have one that we have used for several years, so it should have any coatings burned off by now.
