This was shot a few minutes ago at the end of my road, thought you guys might like to see this.
I think that these guys are Western Corellas.

It's so nice when you get to see flocks of wild parrots just doing their thing! My local park nearly aways has a flock of pink galahs foraging on the grass. They're just gorgeous...next time I'm there I'll have to get a photo to post here.

I love where you live!! I am jealous! Big open spaces... I bet you see fabulous reptiles there!!
Pretty impossible to tell if westerns or not, seeing as most species have a pretty much total distribution these days thanks to accidental introduction as well as overpopulation.
I love their silly dolphin cockatoo noise :p Thats what I call them when they fly over... dolphintoos.

Edit: I think they are Westerns due to their smaller beak size.

Do so, please. It would be nice to see a thread full of wild birds.
We get the pink and greys up here as well but not nearly as many as these guys.
We get 'tiels at certain times of the year and huge flocks of budgies too.
