Came across pine4parrots.co.uk when I was looking for small foot toys. I really like some of the items they are selling. They sell toy parts too so you can make your own. The prices actually look quite good aswell compared to most places that put an extra £5 on anything that could be called a "parrot toy". They also provide some good info on toy safety. This site kinda enspired me to make some cool toys haha. :)

Its a UK store too which is good because most I've come across that seem pretty good are in the US.

I'm looking for places to get some beads etc for my birds that aren't way over priced to make some toys. Anyone know any other good places.

I've noticed some foot toys sold for parrots are also used in schools. I remember when i was in nursery we had the exact same plastic teddybears. :L

I heard about ScarlettsParrots on here. I've visited the Northern parrots site quite a lot. yet to order anything. I've also been looking at flat shelf perches. Just noticed ScarlettsParrots has some nice looking ones. :)

Also just found this place I found it interesting that they have a special needs section. Haven't came across one before. It's really quite good.

Remedial solutions for parrots with special needs and disabilities

Pine4parrots sells plain non toxic paper sheets which I know my lovebirds would love to shred but my bird Rainbow is a tricky one. She is terrified of paper (no idea why, could be a previous home experience) she becomes aggressive and attacks any paper in sight. It could be the crinkly noise. I've had a few nasty bites from her whilst trying to save her from the "nasty paper". paper is out of the question for Rain. I'll probably get her some buttons, beads and some leather strips to chew. She might be okay with the paper that looks like string because it doesnt look or sound like paper. :20:
