wow. this site is a lot different than the other forum board i go. probably can't mention the name. it's hardcore, in your face & tell it like it is. some of you might know it. but i came here for knowledge. so i will look around & read.

I've seen a couple other parrot websites - they each develop their own community and atmosphere. We here have been through our own phases, some more pleasant than others.

From the tone I gather the "in your face" attitude was unpleasant. This seems to happen as certain members have been around for a while on a given site and they start to think their views carry more weight simply because they have been on that forum longer.

I've been active here on ParrotForums for a while ... but I can only hope that I've passed on half as much knowledge as I've gained from others. We have new people joining every day many of whom come armed already with a wealth of experience.

That being said I think I am a pretty 'tell it like it is' person... but I don't mind when others give it to me strait too. So don't hesitate to let us know what you like or don't like about our forums.
