I have had cooper since October of 2012. and he was clipped late September of 2012 and it still doesn't seem like he is growing in new flight feathers. he loses a feather here and there, but it doesn't look like "molting". whats happening? is this normal?

People often have visions of a moult resulting in a total apocalypse of feathers; generally it will be a very gradual process. I wouldn't worry. :)

My sun conure did not completely molt away his clipped flight feathers (got him like that from the breeder) until 14 months! It was a slow process and I remember him start to loose the feathers slowly, but now it's all replaced. Don't worry!
