They do have their moments, but even those moments of loudness aren't terrible. Recently, on a nightly basis, I've been hearing a sun conure scream every evening between 8-10pm somewhere in my neighborhood. Hearing the little guy I'm glad Rosie and Kenji are quite ;)

Lol! Those suns do have loud voices. Mine are pretty quiet too, the outside birds create a much louder racket than mine! :)

I'm lucky, too. I can always run upstairs and continue a conversation when my 2 big macs have a sound-off competition downstairs. :54:

Em's pretty quiet, too. Lately, she doesn't understand that my teenage daughter likes to sleep in when she's not in school. Em keeps calling, "Hello! Hi, hi, hi!", trying to get Jess to come down. Sometimes she shrieks. She doesn't understand why Jess doesn't eat breakfast with the flock.

Not even my tiels are quiet, I swear I have the loudest tiels in the world, they rival the Sun on some days.. My greencheek is quiet, kinda, most days anyway. She can get going once in a while though.

Alice - Galah cockatoo
Alice mostly seems to chirp as a contact / look at me sound, along with the odd cackle when she's exited about something and a hugely endearing little sweak if I'm sat next to her and she feels conversational. She'll let rip if she's seriously upset about something - I tried to help her free a pin feather this morning and she wasn't impressed - but it's always one short sharp warning blast and then back to normal.

I can hear Merlin down the street, but apparently my neighbours can't... how unusual! :)

I'm grateful he's not louder than he is, but I wish he'd cut the shrieking down a little. Shout and chatter all day long Merlin, just stop with the high pitch shrieking!

You probably notice more since you know what to listen for ;) When Rosie is doing her celebration screaming I can hear her out front, but it doesn't carry far
