Thanks all :) will always keep taking photos ;) doing a quick tour of new zealands south island at the moment so hoping for some kea pics (amongst a few other objectives).

Lovely photos. We see large flocks of pink galahs here where I live, usually grazing on the lawns of our local park, so beautiful when you see them en mass like that :)

I think it's a paddy melon (introduced weed species, very common in coastal environments). The SC Cockies love them!
