So when Fred and Star are together they start out by preening eachother. Then it turns into Fred stepping on Star and chewing on his tail feathers. But last night it looked as though Fred was trying to mate with Star. I don't think he's actually trying to mate as he's a couple of months old so I'm trying to figure this behavior out.

Another thing is Fred likes to crowed Star. He literally makes it so Star is at the end of the perch and can't go anywhere so Fred can sit there and chew on Star like I toy.

So far no harm has been done and if Fred gets to pushy Star just hops down and I take Fred away for a few. Will Fred eventually calm down or will he just constantly keep trying to just dominate?:blue2::rainbow1:

I think you should seperate the two. It doesn't sound like a fun situation.

They go towards eachother if they are both out. Its not like Star trys to avoid the situation. He's head first as well.
Today they seemed a little better, but Fred still steps on Star from time to time.
