Hi there, and welcome to the forum. :)

Many congrats on your Senegal. Please tell us a bit more about your new baby. How old is she? How long have you had her? How big is her cage, and how is it set up?

Does she have plenty of toys and foraging opportunities?

She may just have learned that shrieking/screaming/yelling WILL get her attention, so you may have to re-direct her.

If her cage is well equipped to keep her busy (and please remember to rotate toys regularly to avoid boredom), do not enter the room while she's having at it. Enter only when she's quiet. Then reward her.

You could also try clicker training and/or target training.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
That is line of sight screaming... when you are out of sight, the bird gets nervous and calls to you. It also has a component of, your bird is attempting to train you to come when you are called.

Line of sight screaming stops when the bird can see you...

So if you move the bird around with you and he can see you, it stops. Which isn't always practical.

Basic screaming behavior mod. protocols are as follows:

Cover the cage on 3 sides with a cover when the bird starts screaming.
If the bird continues to scream, cover the 4th side of the cage.
The bird will quiet down when he is covered. (It is also sensory deprivation.)
As soon as the bird remains quiet, uncover the cage, and praise him for being a good bird.
REINFORCE THE GOOD BEHAVIOR - DON'T JUST PUNISH THE BAD.
