Possible to shipped to Singapore

Dear all,

Can I kindly ask whether is it possible to buy a parrot from your country or anywhere possible but shipped to my country Singapore? I am yearning to owned an amazon parrot, particular double yellow headed amazon. (Tres maria or Magna) And advise would be helpful?

To add on. Recently I been con by few websites... Don't want to name them. Asking me to transfer money to them thru western union to purchase baby double yellow headed and I did. I was obviously too trusting... But found that they are scams..

Wouldn't it be easier to drive up to KL? I understand most species are available up there, for a price (although many species are a lot cheaper than they are in Oz, if you convert Ringgit to AUD.

The flight would be over 24hr period. Do they even allow that? I kinda think that's cruel to do......

The problem is I do not have any reliable sources. And funny thing is KL don't seems to have much amazon parrot.

I really have no idea. That's why I have wrote to several big aviaries. But so far no reply yet.

No you can't buy a Amazon here in the US and ship it out of the country. CITIES 1 or 2 listed birds can't be exported. If you lived here you could buy one and ship it with you as a pet (with proper permits) if the country your moving to would allow it. Example would be New Zealand or Australia where they don't allow importation of CITIES listed birds, or most animals for that matter. Not sure about laws in your country. If i could export amazons ,,, i'd be rich, LOL.

Perhaps you can consider adopting? There are many ads if you hit up parrots adoption singapore on google. Always try adopting as many parrots are left without homes when their owners abandon them. You can be the one to give them the home they deserve. I'm pretty sure there are some amazons around! Please remember tho that they need to be showered plenty of love and care for approximately 40 years of your life. They are companions that will live and die with you. Please be fair to them. And one thing, parrot bites, all parrot bites, a parrot that don't bite doesn't yet exist.

They said they used to be involved in parrot rescue and rehab too. Sounds like they'd be someone good for you to talk to?
