Early Valentines Day Gift

I got the best Valentines Day Gift I could hope for last night.

We spent the early evening hours out in the main part of the house, with Knuckles. We played with her, gave her treats and toys, and then put her to bed. After changing my sweatshirt and washing my face, hands and neck, I went in to play with Wingnut, who enthusiastically showed off and horsed around with me for the better part of an hour. He was so goofy and happy. He was blushing, and his feet were red hot. We left his cage top open, and I went and washed up again, so I could get into bed, and have cuddle time with Loki. We do it almost every night, and it makes her day to sit on my chest and get preened and loved on. After a few minutes, Wingnut began to fuss, so BirdyDaddy got up to put him in his cage for the night, and Wingnut got real animated and started to squawk and flap. His dad put him down on the bed, and Wingnut immediately RAN as fast as he could, over pillows and covers to get to me. I moved Loki away, and Wingnut sat right on my chest with his face pressed up against mine and wouldn't move. I just hugged him and cried.
Wingnut is my Valentine.

Awww now I got tears running down my face. Blest little Wingnut -I really do wish you both all the best. Give him an extra big hug.
