Wow! That's a perfect hat, Mike! Please tell Mrs Mike we all think it's pretty spiffy! I'm wondering how Mrs Mike did that - does she have an embroidering sewing machine? If so, could you please tell me what kind it is? I'll be an old lady with a grey bun before I can get one, but I'm collecting people's opinions for the day when I do. :D

hahahahahahahahaha, no she is good, but not quite that good. I found the patch and she sewn it on the hat for me. But she can't take credit for the embroidery work. I imagine that is the handy work of some talented but poorly paid young woman from Indonesia.

Having been the mother of two (2) Scouts and one (1) Scout Leader, I can authoritatively say that sewing on patches is NOT AN EASY THING TO DO!!! In Scouts, they have this blessed thing called a Camp Blanket. This is a blanket with a hole in it, poncho-like, for the head to go through. The idea is, you stitch on billions of cloth patches, which the Scouts collect every time they have a camp or a get together with other troops. I cannot tell you how deeply I hate sewing on cloth patches!

So yeah , Mrs Mike did a great job with the hat! :)
