Riley-white faced grey cockatiel (hatch date 6-28-2014) RIP Halloween-pied cockatiel
For the first 5 days after bringing Speckles home he didn't make a sound I just figured he must be the quietest tiel ever. Saturday I found out I was very wrong. He likes to be loud around 10am which is still odd seeing as how they are supposed to be loudest around sunrise and sunset.

So sorry color. I would take him to your avian vet to find out what caused his death. As sudden as it was I believe it's important to know, especially if you want to get another bird.

Thinking back on it I believe he was sick before I got him I just took the warning signs as himsstill adjusting. I wrote a much longer post in the bereavement section explaining why I think he was sick. He was far too quite and really didn't move around much the most movement I'd notice was he'd have to cross the cage because I purposely put his food on one side and his water on the other. I'd leave for work and he'd be on one when I got home he was on the other the only time that changed was today I left for work and he was on the cage floor in the corner chirping and when I got home he was in the exact same spot only he was dead.
