Went to the "Bird Hut" in Portland, and got a couple things for Kiwi. He came with me and 'embarrassed' mommy a little of course :roll eyes: The lady gave him a pistachio and a pine nut, which he played with for 20 minutes each before eating them. I don't know if she had ever seen a bird take so darn long to eat a nut before:p

Anyways, I bought him 2 new types of cooked foods (Roudybush italian trail mix and golden feast south american blend), a manu block (haven't been able to find one since moving, so he's been getting cuttlebones instead) and a boing perch. I've been wanting to get him a boing for a while, but haven't seen the right size for his play tree until today. I am excited to see what he thinks of having the new foods added to his diet. He's typically open to trying new things, so hopeful he will like them:)

Let me know how you get on with the roudybush! Have had my eye on it for a while but don't have a bird as a test subject.

He got the Roudybush last night and devoured it like a ravenous monster. I noticed it says "treat" on the top of the package, so I am unsure if I should feed it to him regularly or not (?). It looks a bit like cream of wheat with noodles and veg mixed in lol. The boing was a big hit too. Not a hint of trepidation about climbing up it. I will be testing out the Goldenfeast today.
