OK basic question for all you parrot owners out there, I own a goffins cockatoo, occasionally (I think it has happen 2-4 times) when he poops it doesn't "fall" instead it hangs up in his feathers what do you do? Do you try to clean it for them? Or do you let them do it? It seems to happen when I feed him peas. It turns his poop dark green an sticky so it holds on verse just dropping.
He goes in routinely for check ups in fact he just went in a few days ago an all his gram stains an fecal came back good, no infection, with my vet telling me to keep it up cause he is a happy, healthy cockatoo.
Thanks for any advice.
