Soooo guess who came back....Jalapeno:) He did horrible going back to the shelter and reverted to his I hate the world attitude so we are fostering him again. We both have the really bad feeling that we are going to be stuck with him for awhile.... which would be bad because he fits with us too well:52:

Tiny amazon and my Kelly looking even more giant next to the little guy...

My foster pionus, Skylar still isn't doing great but he is not aggressive just terrified of the world. The parrolet fosters are almost all adopted with just a baby still available and we now have a pretty lutino Lovebird foster. I guess the good news is the shelter has had a lot of adoptions recently. With some of the macaws that have been there a long time with pending homes. Iggy the beautiful scarlet macaw, Debbie a blue and gold, Georgette a mostly naked blue and gold, Mikey a mostly naked Noble (who actually isn't pending anymore and went to his new home today), and Manny a green wing who was actually considered the 'owners' bird....a lot of the macaws that are considered really problematic end up as Jeanne's but are still available if the right person comes along... and well Manny fell in love with this adopter who came in! We go so long without macaws being adopted that this spree of good macaw homes is amazing:D Now we just need some crazy amazon people to show up;)

And some pics of Loki, my now slightly hormonal sun conure, who is starting to get some yellow invading down into the green!

And his poor tail that he breaks...has one new blue feather coming in... Haven't had a broken feather in awhile so hopefully he is catching on that he needs to be careful.

Well, Jalapeño knew where he wanted to live;) If nothing else, he liked all that food you guys make your birds! They say the way to a mans (or in this case, male parrot) heart is through his stomach:D:D:D

Haha well we don't particularly want to keep him:rolleyes: Still hoping an adopter will like him when they come over. He does has some quirks that put a lot of people off but they are typical amazon behaviors so we are hoping an amazon person will wander in soon!

Folger getting into his box and basket after I put them back together....should be back in a few and it will all be thrown around again:)

He saw me and froze...like if he was super still I would forget he was there and go away:rolleyes:

Does it much matter if you WANT to keep him or not? He looks like he's made himself right at home:D In fact, he looks really happy! And you know if you get rid of him again, he knows how to act to get himself back;)
