1 green cheek conure (Kumar)
2 male budgies (Charlie and Diego)
For my conure, the question would be what doesn't he throw.

Everything he can pick up! He prefers to throw those small cat toys, but if he's really upset, he'll throw those small ferris wheels from PetCo.

Oh my gosh this made me laugh hahaha the Ferris wheels! :2_smile: I have one of those too! LOL

These responses are too funny, I agree it seems like it's anything loud and obnoxious and dramatic haha :jumping40 He has other toys but the dishes are SO LOUD and he goes for the ones at the highest point in the cage so they make a bang! And then after the crash and I look at him he's doing a little dance, I'm like really?!?! Lol

When mine don't get the attention they think they deserve, they throw food, dishes, toys, anything they can lift, and if that doesn't do it, they throw tantrums.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
During fruit and vegetable day, they often toss out items they despise. Some do so in a mellow fashion, others hurl with contempt! On occasion they like to toss metal food bowls across the cage, no doubt enjoying the clanking noise.

My male Citron Gandalf will sometimes take a treat by hand and hurl it above his head, then raise his crest and make an imitative laugh.

Haha Scott, Poppy does the exact same thing as Gandalf but only with a ball when I'm trying to get her to play catch. :) She also sorts her fresh food and launches anything she deems inedible. Toos aren't subtle.

He is a diva!!!! What do your parrots throw when you don't pay attention to them for even a moment?? Lol

Ahhhhh The Senegal....My Senegal will throw it's dish....Now I've managed to secure it to cage. That doesn't stop the bugger from throwing anything he can get his beak on.

Thinks it's funny to drop toys on my head when I'm sitting on the floor cleaning his try on the bottom of the cage. Bobs his head up and down as if laughing.

My Grey is culprit number 2, fling fling fling with toys....I'm going to break my feet one of these days stepping on his flung toys.

My amazons don't fling much.... they are a bit more civilized. LOL.

Oh I forgot-- chili also tries to throw things AT others....aiming for the cat is the most amusing, but she also throws things at my child, and occasionally me when I'm trying to pick things up-- she drops her toys on my head. [emoji57]

Sassy - 13 y.o. Blue Front Amazon, Cisco - 6 y.o. Sun Conure, Peanut - 8 y.o. U2
Fred - 2(?) y.o. Cockatiel, Ginger - 3 or 4(?) y.o. Cockatiel
Peanut throws food to the dogs and then climbs to the bottom of her cage and watches them eat it. She also throws things off the top of her cage.

they throw tantrums.

Hahaha yes this is what Leonard throws most often! Now, he DROPS a lot of things but he doesn't really throw much, which is nice. The only mess around the cage is from when he is out and I forget to put a towel down.

Sailor has decided it's quite fun to shovel large amounts of food over the edge of her bowl and watch it all rain down to the floor of her enclosure. The mess is wild. Thank God the enclosure bottom is a quick broom/dustpan clean up. I'm looking into food cleaners now to deal with what goes on the floor by what seems to be the bucket load. I'm afraid to take it away from her because she came looking thin to begin with and then went through the "I'm new here so I can't eat much for 3 days" thing. She got her appetite back, thank goodness. But now the wild food dumping has begun. I try to keep less in the bowl, but it doesn't deter her from throwing it on the floor anyway. It's a great mix of numerous things like goldenfeast blends, zupreme and roudybush pellets, nuts-etc. Doesn't seem to matter, she flings it all anyway.

Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
I'm lucky. Most of mine aren't throwers...

Though Tusk, when Lila has her head stuck in the old playstand food bowls, instead of paying attention to him, would pull them out and fling them across the room...

My little dusky was a food thrower.

Lila is a food inhaler. Come to think of it, so are the macaws.
