Question DNA sexed female bird acting like a male bird.

Mildred is DNA sexed as a female but yesterday she climbed on top of a sock (she loves them) and went huge and fluffy like a male bird would. She has climbed on top of hands before as well. She has never reversed onto things though. She's one year old.

She can talk very well and is quite aggressive for a female.

The breeder had two chicks and gave us the one he thought was male originally.

When we got her DNA'd, Avian Biotech screwed it up the first time and we had to DNA her again.

Does this mean the test results got mixed up and Mildred is actually male after all?

Emily, could you possibly DNA her once again - just to be certain? Even though my Hunter (YN hen), when in the mood, also climbs on 'objects' that appease her.

We are most likely going to do that. I'll talk to my Mother about it since Mildred is her bird.

It's strange how they can act like the opposite sex when they feel like it.
