Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
...for Jonesy.

I thought Smokey was a messy little girl. Jonesy has her beat, feathers down!

If it was left up to him,I'd be filling his bowl three or four times a day. He'll have poor 'ol mothers cupboard empty in no time.

So I went to my local "All pets" checking out the birdies and puppies, when I came across a food bowl. I am not sure who manufactures it,but it is called "Tidy Seed" It is made of clear heavy-duty plastic. It is square. Measures 8 inches wide, about 7.75 inches high, and 7.75 inches deep.

The seed area is 3.25 inches wide,2.25 inches tall, and and the length,or width of the entire enclosure. It has a perch the width of the enclosure, where the little P.I.T.A can step up onto and have his entire fluffy face in the bowl. It will completely eliminate his flinging of grub hither and yon, saving food and making clean-up so much easier.

The price from the pet store was $79.99 :11: rather pricey!

So when I got home, I went on to "Windy City Parrot dot com" and sure 'nuff, they have it..it was on sale for $59.99 so I purchased one. It arrived today :D

Just curious if anyone has heard of this food bowl,if they have one,and whats their impression? Of all the feedback I could read, everyone gave it a 5 star rating.:D also, has anyone else purchased from Wind City?? I have,a few times. an excellent birdie store. Everything from food,to toys, perches, cages etc.

Jim

p.s. now to get Jonesy to try it!

I have heard of this but it was too expensive for me to justify. Let me know how it works! I'm thinking about making my own once I gather bird safe materials. My little conure is very messy and sometimes I feel like she tries to see how far she can throw her food!

I hope it works for you. I just started using a 40 oz. Smart Crock for my macaw, it's deep and harder for him to scoop the food to the cage floor.
