I live in a flat, while the bathroom has a door and extractor (plus the living room door) our kitchen is only a door away for my gcc.
I can't imagine there being an issue for general sweet and savoury baking odors, What about chocolate?

I've made a couple lots of nutella brownies (yum! Though one was a gift), and I know hazel nuts are safe and chocolate is not, but what about the odor? Is it safe in the long run or not?

I and not giving any to Pazu, I may save him a few nuts but no nutella for him.

Obviously no teflon pans or bakeware, but I am not aware of normal cooking "odors" being in any way harmful. Perhaps if you're seriously burning something and smoke is filling the air.... I think regular cooking and baking in non-teflon pots/pans is fine though.

Shouldn't be, I've been using foil tins I've had lying around for these brownies (if I get meat or something that comes with a foil pan then I keep it).
