I had my 9 month old GCC gender tested by HealthGene Laboratory. The result came back female. However 'she' acts like a male.

Territorial, possessive, very vocal, loud, independent, thinks he's flock master, no nesting desire, hates men, picky eater....

Most things I'm reading say those traits are more so of males than females. So my question is should I have the test redone? Or does anyone else have experience with this?

Budgerigar: Arrow, Esther, Kratos, Cora, Ducky.

Lovebird: Izzy, Gizmo.
Could be just her personality! You can always get a female bird thats "supposed to be" territorial or more aggressive but is actually a sweet heart and vice versa.

Though everything you described (well, maybe besides the nesting) could be a gender neutral thing. You can definitely get a more pact-leader female, and man-hating bird in either gender.

Yup. Absolutely not nestings desire at all. I got 'him' a hut, didn't like it. One of the open coconut toys, hates it. She'll shred paper but does nothing with it. She's just a destructive beast lol. Hey favorite spot is on her perch :)
