Yoshi - Green Quaker
My Yoshi is not much of a talker. He has a couple of phrases but he's mostly quiet for a Quaker. He is, however, an expert at annoying sounds!
He mimics our squeaky rocking chair (that we don't been use because I can't stand the squeaking) and the sounds of our 7 guinea pigs squealing for food (my husband despises the pigs so he really loves that haha).
Today we were sitting in the living room watching a movie while our kids played in the bedroom and our 5 year old screamed and without missing a beat Yoshi went "SQUEEEEEEEE" very loudly. We busted out laughing and then we had to stop our movie because Yoshi just kept doing it over and over while we laughed.

What annoying sounds have your birds learned?

My yellow nape Winston copied our kids crying, so well my ex used to come running. Also the phone. I was working in the basement one night, and I heard the phone ring like 30 times. I shouted up the stairs "Would you answer the f..ing phone". She shouted back "It's your f..ing bird". Oh yeah, she loved that parrot..not! Winston lived up to the nape reputation, he would copy anything left on a 1 minute message tape.... anything.

Quakers are pros at mimicking sounds! My girl quaker has a long long list of noises. Most are really cute or funny. The worst is our yappy yorkie's bark. The yorkie doesn't get by with it for long but it's hard to convince a bird not to bark. Another terrible noise is a neighbor's car alarm, it kept going off one day and that's all it took, Harry loves that one and that was months ago. A cuter one is the perfect imitation of an electric drill, she does it when she's happy, excited or there's any kind of noisy drama in the room. Oh yeah, yowling cats and crying babies, we don't have either.

I love your Yoshi signature! Super cute!

Raven my Pionus is my best talker. Not known for being one of the best talking species, but depending on how much Raven likes a sound or the sound of a word he will pick it up almost instantly. Raven will never use his natural bird calls to use repeatedly. I guess I should be thankful. Once in a while he'll let out a single Pionus screech maybe a few times a week. He's a very quiet bird in regard to "natural" calls, but he loves to mimick sounds or talk. Mimicking makes up the majority of his "noise".

One of the funniest things is him doing the human cough. It's not real loud, but it's annoying. Except he likes to do it extra high pitched. He can go on and on for an hour with that one. He loves it. I 'used to' think it was funny. What is still hilarious is his laryngitis voice. He says "hi" in all different ways including varying degrees of laryngitis rasp going "hiiiiiiii".

Thank you! It was made by blancaej and I love it!

You know, now that you mention dog barks I'm thinking Yoshi might be trying to imitate our neighbor's dog...which will be extremely annoying since they let their dog run around in our yard and bark at us.

Between us and the neighbours there were two 'toos, two poodles and an IRN. It was kinda fun watching the expressions of door knockers when the 'pack' started barking :54:

CAG
I've only had my CAG but Tango is 28. Tango I think is immitating a smoke detector with a low battery. Tango makes a loud beep sound about every 2-3 minutes. There's other sounds also but I'm not sure what they are yet. I kind of tune it out since I've had parrots for decades. Tango also mimics water sounds, bomb falling and a few cute ones.
