What's going on

I'd first like to say that this is probably in the wrong section but it's the most fitting section I could put it in. I disappeared for a little bit (even though I never did post frequently!) and a lot changed. We have four birds, Pepper (cockatiel), Ace (CAG) a yellow crowned Amazon(unnamed for now, belongs to my mother) and a Lovebird. I realized I was in way in over my head with the rosebreasted cockatoo so I took the deposit off of her. As much as I really did love her, I don't think I could have provided her with the care she deserved. She was bought by a very nice and responsible person. I'm done jumping around with birds. The Lovie that I have now is a 3 year old peach faced lovie that was abandoned by someone who simply "did not want him anymore". I was specifically asked to take him because I was trusted. His name is Bellini, he is DNA tested male. All of them are doing well. I would just like to apologize to everyone. A lot of what I said was rude and I admit I didn't really listen to the advice I asked for. I wasn't mentally in the right place at the time and I am coming back with a new mindset. I did act like a bit of a jerk and I regret it. Again, I didn't post frequently and to be honest I'll be surprised if anyone remembers who I am. I hope you can forgive me and help me learn more about my feathered friends!

Most of us are in the mindset that we want to rescue and help every bird, I know I am. But it sounds like you have a really good heart, so don't worry about it, we all have bad days and bad moods.

We all have bad days and sometimes asking forgiveness is the best way to start fresh. I know for me it is!

I don't recall observing any of the situations you related, so as far as I'm concerned you have a fresh start! Welcome!!

Fresh start here too for you as you belonged to the forum before I joined I think as I dont remember any posts like you described...welcome to the forum...hope to see some pics of your fids soon
