Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Like the title says this is the final review 4 the pack o bird. I used it in every one of the methods you can use the pack in. Backpack, front pack, shoulder, and in the car. As I previously reported , the quality of the build is quite high, so this report will be more on areas that I think they could improve upon.

1. Carry handle. The canvas carry handle is too far to the rear, so that when you pick it up by the carry handle, the pack tilts forward a lot, possibly spilling water and food from the cups, and throwing the bird off balance. The shoulder strap attachment points ( heavy duty click fasteners) however are set right at the forward to back balance spot, so I would suggest loosing the canvas handle, and provide the buyer with a carry handle that uses the shoulder attachment points. That way the pack will not tilt when picked up.

2) Car seat. While the loops in the back of the pack do work with car seat/shoulder restraints, it was difficult to get the belts thru the 2 loops on the pack. Perhaps these loops could be closed with heavy duty snaps and 3 loops provided, to work better with modern 3 point car restraints.

3) Water bottle. While the optional water bottle itself is kinda cool, it provides water when a little pin sticking out of the tube is pushed. Having either the tube or the pin sticking into the the pack when your hiking around or driving your favorite twisty road seems dangerous. This time I have no suggestion, but I'm pretty sure the creative folks at Celltei will come up with something, or find a vendor, that satisfies this need.

And that's it. This of course is a short term review, and perhaps other niggling points would appear after years of use, though with the high quality manufacturing of the pack evident, it's doubtful. As this company develops products for different size parrots and different travel conditons, I am sure they will have one that fits your needs and requirements. I give mine 9 out of 10 parrot squawks. So does Salty.

It is s Great review...I have seen them for sale on Amazon and thought them to be pretty expensive but from your review it appears they are worth the price...a whole lot of thought and care appears to have gone into the manufacture of them...Im guessing the company will try to improve on the points you have raised...Mr Biggles and Peter Pan are jealous of Salty traveling all over the country in his Pako Bird ...so glad he enjoys it :)

I agree with 1 and 2. As for the water bottle, it is pretty good. Yeah it could probably be held in better but I had to problem adventuring and driving around with it.

I haven't gotten one because of the cost, but I do agree for the cost you are getting what you are paying for. I use the travel cage shown below. It works well for short trips and is inexpensive.
