NO HOUSE IS COMPLETELY BIRD-PROOF!!! Jack was on my shoulder today while I looked for a tool in the basement, he startled and flew to the other end of the room. He fell between a huge stack of boxes filled with back taxes, right next to an open crawl space. Luckily my family sprung into action and moved the boxes quickly, otherwise he could have crawled into a tight corner and gotten lost. Jack is now no longer to accompany anybody to the basement unless he is caged, there are too many spaces he could get lost in.
Remember that all houses have dangers, especially for small birds!!! Stay vigilant!!!
