I will be driving four hours today to go to a large flea market where a couple breeders I've talked to will be bringing their parrots so I will actually get experience with large birds today and see what they are really like. I'll meet macaws amazons and cockatoos along with some of the smaller species. Wish me luck and I will take tons of pictures for you guys.

Yes, definitely looking forward to pics and hearing your take on the different birds! Also make sure to research if there are any rescues or sanctuaries near your location, as they are great places to get a feel for different types of birds as well.

Enjoy the adventure! Take lots of photos to share. You've been doing lots of research but you may narrow your species list after you meet a few birds in person.
