Yep! Hubby drove through rush hour traffic in Sydney with a long-wheel-base trailer today to pick it up. Towing stuff through Sydney is not the stuff of which dreams are made, but my darling Hunn did it for me and my birdies. :)

It's gonna be ages till it gets built and the birds installed, but I don't mind. Seeing my Beakies flying high will be worth the wait!

That is an amazing aviary, Trish! Wow! Most impressive! They are going to find so much joy flying about in there! Will you be able to set it up with the same tunnel entrance effect that you had with their last cage?

Trish, that is amazing! I am green with envy, and definitely will not be showing it to my birds. I can't wait to see the beaks and Dommie enjoying it!

Stephen, we're hoping to be able to do that. The new house has a nice enclosed deck, which would be ideal for birdie visitation. It doesn't really matter, though. I have plans for setting up a table and chairs in the aviary so I can go and spend lots of time communing with the birds. I'm also trying to find some decent-sized air-conditioning duct, which is going to be heaps more versatile than a humble coffee-tin if we do decide to cut a hole in the house. :D

Trish, I think your birds may have a cage bigger than our home now:D Fantastic aviary! I bet Dom and the beaks will be thrilled. Will that be inside or outside?

Heheh! It'll be outside... for now... My poor Hunn is such an angel. How many spouses would put up with a menagerie like mine? He didn't even bat an eyelid when we (kids and I) were breeding mice. He did - um - whiffle his nose a bit, but never a batted eyelid was seen. ;)
