Jenday conure~ Theo
hi everyone! I was just looking at Theo my Jenday Conure today and I realized he always holds things in his left foot so I guess he's left "handed" lol. What is your birds dominant "hand" and what species are they?

I want to say left handed because when he goes to sleep he usually lifts up his left foot

Funny! I've got two righties here when sleeping. I tried to make Henry grab something to check the theory but clearly he knew what I was up to because he beak threw it all away:D:rolleyes:

My LSC2 is ambidextrous. She alternates feet when sleeping and holding objects.

Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Funny, Salty sleeps with his left foot tucked up, but when we do his roll over trick, where he extends a foot and I help him roll over, he will alternate , extending his right then his left, and roll over in the appropriate direction. Same hand signals and voice commands, he just likes to do it with either foot, his choice. But he only shakes hands with his left foot.
