Toy keyboards out of wood. For Salty and any other parrot that has a sweet tooth for electronics. Jeeezz last nite, he went to town on my tablet and scooped off a key like a nibblet of corn off the cob. No worrying it, no workin' on it. Just walked over and SCHLURP, no more ESC key. How do they know the exact angle to use to do that so effectively? So I could get these made out of wood , in CHina, for pennies. Ah they probably wouldn't like them because they know the fake ones mean nothing to us.

Lincoln hasn't shown too much interest in keyboards other than standing on mine when I'm trying to do important gaming stuff :p he LOVES all my art supplies though which isn't good because I use lots of alcohol based markers and I don't want him getting into them even though I usually keeo them stored away unless I'm using them.

Someone had a kids play laptop at a garage sale that has been a huge hit with my birds in the past. Unfortunately at some point they broke it beyond repair and i am too cheap to buy a non-used one at full price

I do think it is the oh no this object has received more attention than me it must be fun to destroy!! That makes keyboards particularly appealing to the fids

Per Amazona Rule 1271, page 2283, section 7, item c - j: That, which an Amazon wants become the Property of that Amazon at the moment the Amazon determines he /she wants it. In addition, what the Human covets, becomes the property of the Amazon.

I have come to belief that the Amazona Society is receiving technical information from the World leading electronic suppliers that defines specific weak points that with the precise pressure of an Amazon's beak with cause instant failure of the device. Additionally, technical information is provide allowing knowledge of precise contact points, slide angle and pressure needed to remove exterior components of importance to the devises operation.

In short, we are screwed!

You just gave me an idea. I'm going to go to Goodwill and buy a keyboard. That can't be that much. Remove the wiring, clean it up and let Jasper go to town on it. Wonder how many keys it would take before he got bored?

You reap what you sow! If you give a toy one, cannot tell him off if he likes yours better IMO. Let us know how it works out please? In principle a good idea. :)

Ooo, good idea. In fact my company's IT people never throw anything away, so we have closets and closets full of keyboards, for machines that were scrapped years ago. A few screws to remove the back, chuck out the PC boards and clean them up! Heehee Salty, you're in for a treat!

It could go through the dishwasher for an extra special clean :)
