Re: Lord of the Birds

I have seen that video before. Amazing isn't it? The huge enclosure and just how that man and the birds interact.

Re: Lord of the Birds

It truly has a WOW factor!

But the volume of Birds and Parrots collected in the short period of time (five (5) years), if simply remains at the same rate will have the numbers nearing 4500 in just an additional ten years. And, that does not include the 4000 that that are currently being feed on his roof. All numbers combined and pushed equals something North of 16500 birds!

At present, he likely has the money! But what happens when he passes? Unless this place develops a solid cash flow to support it all - India doesn't have it! This could get ugly real fast.

He's a smart man, I hope he is think of those realities!

Re: Lord of the Birds

I hope that since he has an ashram, he has followers who care for the birds as part of their spiritual practice and that this care will continue when he dies, hopefully the rate of birds coming in will slow down after the initial mass.

Re: Lord of the Birds

What an amazing story! Many folks have lifetime epiphanies but few translate into such tangible good!
