I had cut down the mulberry bush at my new place several weeks ago but saved a few small branches for my Mumble birdy. Had a large flower pot sitting empty for a long time as well. Yesterday I went and bought a little bag of marble chips and, along with a few tie wraps, put this together. Doesn't look 100% natural I know, but I wanted bird to have some more or less horizontal places to hang out. Also the branches didn't naturally branch out that often so my creation is a bit more dense.

All pieces are way bigger than my oven so they're not baked, but I have had them drying in the garage for a while. The bush was healthy when I cut it down and I never saw and critters on it while drying so I finally declared it safe. Think I need to devise some kind of mounting for some small food and water dishes. Got an idea or two for that, let's see...

Bird is getting used to it, seems like he's going to be ok hanging out here :whiteblue:

I like it!
Take a pvc cap that a SS bowl will fit in, run a bolt through the bottom. Either rig a bracket to act as a clamp, or just use a tywrap!

Already got it =)

I did use tie wraps. Drilled a couple holes in the branches and used the tiniest ziploc bowls I had hanging around. I got the tie wraps on tight enough to hold the dishes in place, but not so tight that I can't take them out for cleaning and refilling.

Total cost of the project not including the pot, tie wraps and ziploc dishes I already had hanging around, $4.98. The bag of marble chips was all I had to buy, lol

It sure is. I built it myself, along with several other over the years. Here's a better pic of it and the one beside it. I need to get back out flying the darn things, it's been a while.
