I'm thinking that was a Nat Geo Documentary and it left me with much the same feeling.

Active in Alpine regions is amazing.

Thanks for providing the Link!

Pesky "little" birds! Wish I could have seen more of them!

I've always been fascinated by them as well. I've seen some videos where they pull the rubber trim out of car windows and just generally love to cause havoc. They truly are oddities of the parrot world!:), but are a really amazing part. As far as i know only a few zoos in the entire world have them and even fewer people have actually got the chance to handle/get close to one. They are so incredibly smart, it's just mesmerising. Thanks for sharing. :):grey:

Rio (Yellow sided conure) sadly no longer with us

Thank's David! Great Video!

Clearly, do not need one of these guys around the house. Our Amazon can dismantle his cage with ease! With one of these guys, I would come into the garage to find the car dismantled.

That's not the true fear, the real shock is when you see the invoice from them for the 'maintenance' performed on the car!

Interesting point from the Wikipedia article "will work together to achieve a certain objective. They have been filmed preparing and using tools." This shows an extremely high intelligence, using tools is something only seen by the top animals in terms of intelligence and working in groups to solve problems shows highly complex speech patterns and societal order.

Currently I have none, but I have the capacity to adopt a minimum and maximum of two budgies - preferably a bonded pair or two males.
Yeah

Keas are such amazing birds. Possibly the only parrot that relies substantially on a flesh diet.
