My baby Tiki is about to move in and I was wondering what ferns can they eat. Since I live in Australia (and loooooove native Australian plants) my garden is full of native plants and I have got a few ferns. I read somewhere that lovebirds can eat ferns and was wondering which ones. In my garden, I've got Fish Fern, Crows/Birds Nest Fern and Rough-Tree Fern. Can they eat any of these?:confused::confused:

Maybe repost in the lovebirds forum. Tech support is meant for problems with the website itself.

Congrats on your new lovie! I just brought mine home a week ago and already he has brought me so much happiness. They are tiny birds with big personalities.

According to this website (https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/plants-safe-for-birds) Bird's Nest Fern is safe. Fish-Tail Fern is also listed as safe, but not sure if they're the same species? I would assume so. There are a variety of other ferns and plants listed as well. Make sure your plants haven't been sprayed with any pesticides or nasties before you give them to your new friend!
