Duckie -( passed ) 1.5yrs Yellow-sided GCC
Eden- 14/8/2017 High-red pineapple conure
Indi- 12/11/2017 White bellied caique
Asher- 15/1/2018 - Black capped conure
Wolfie- 21/10/2017- Alexandrine
Hello all, Ive been wanting to do this for a long time, This is my family, my life, this is my flock.
Eden- High red pineapple conure
Where do i start with this little guy, he is just in three words a grumpy old man, Eden is like an old man he is so sweet then the next he is fluffed up saying “BITC***” at you. He is as my family nicknamed him “The athlete” he is always on his toes and going 100 miles an hour. He absolutely loves passionfruit and will have it when ever you offer. Eden loves to climb up and down my bed head and hop or rhino along it.
Asher- Black capped conure
Asher well, Asher is the most strangest bird i have ever met, i swear i catch times looking at him and i just wonder what could be going through his mind. He is a good bird with a very big personality, Asher is cage mates with Eden and i would have to say their relationship is like 2 brothers , where Asher is the little brother always on top or annoying Eden. Asher is very inquisitive and will always fly over to the other birds trying to say hello, but as the are not very friendly i have to take him away. Asher is only a baby and i am sure more personality will come out when he gets older.
Indianna- White-bellied caique
Little miss indianna, is my little snuggle bug she is always up for a snuggle or hug but then the next second will always be willing to play, She loves to play on her back and is just starting to do the caique hop, i love it. unfortunately indi is not very fond of other birds and new people. Indi is my best trick bird and picks up commands very easily. She is a big baby when it comes to almonds and walnuts and seems to turn back into a baby when ever i get them!
Wolfie- Alexandrine
Wolf is a little shy thing, who is very nervous around people. He has come a long way in the short time that i have had him, he is starting to vocalise and has gain more confidence around me and my family. Although i would say not much of his personality has come out i think he is doing well, and i cant wait for him to flower in the future.
Duckie- Yellow sided Green Cheek conure.
Duckie was my first parrot I ever owned. He was the love of my life, he was my rock and helped me through the hardest of times, even though he was in my life for only a short time he was my baby. Duckie was a character and by far was the most bonded to me since he was the eldest one I had. Duckie loved his apple, sunflowers and dark draws or places, it was the most funniest moment when i found him curled up in my wardrobe sleeping in my hoodie. Without Duck i would not have found my passion of parrots, i would not have found the patience you need to have when caring for them, Without Duck im pretty sure my kitchen would be a normal kitchen but instead now has 3 large parrot cages in there.
