So I saw somewhere that someone used an artichoke as a kind of foraging toy / food thing and I thought that sounded neat so I bought one. Anyone know how I might prepare it for Lincoln or if it is truly safe? If not, oh well, I like artichoke too!

And if anyone is wondering: we got his chop situation figured out and he didn't eat any of the bad food and is 100% okay. But my mom and i had a ""blast"" eating Lincoln's food trying to figure out which had the chives in it lool

All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
I was wondering and am happy for you!
That must have been a HUGE relief

(My mother would say "that'll teach you to scream and cry even before you were bitten" - but I get it - you a great parrent, even if you are acting out like every first parrent ever.)

If you can get the artichoke while it is still closed and pesticide-free, why not?
I think it is a great idea!
I hardly see them here, but if you can get your hands on them easily... use it :)

They do not use the flowers in medicine / maybe because there is less of the usefull material in them of maybe because we like to eat them even more ;)
(I'd have to check my books, but this is the general use )

in case you were wondering.
