Well my aviator parrot harness came yesterday for Popsicle. Thanks for the recommendation Peta, this harness is so light weight and the easiest thing to put on her. Even though she is 2 years old (the younger the easier to put it on and get used to it) it slid on her in a matter of seconds before she even knew what was happening. It will still take a little while to get used to but the first time went over great. Much better then the feather tether which almost choked her.

Hopefully be the time she can enjoy going outside she will be used to her harness!!! I can't wait!!! :D

Your welcome Tracy, I'm so glad you liked it. You'll have to let us know what Popsicle thinks of the great outdoors, in her new Harness. :D

I am still trying to get cricket to let me get close to the wings let alone touch them to put on harness, which I would like to do. :(

Bucc loves his, and I've even got one for Kito, As Tracy says, the younger the better really, but even older birds and yep even Greys do get used to them.

Popsicle certainly wasn't thrilled about having it on, she tried chewing on it. So thats the next challenges get her used to it and keeping her from chewing on it.

Popsicle is very tame with me I can touch her anywhere and she is very trusting. The only problem with her is giving her treats and rewarding her for letting me put the harness on her. I give her lots of praise and attention so hopefully that will work. I'm sure once she gets outside she will be way too excited to notice the harness anymore!!!

I got the X-Small, that would be the size to use for Sidney. The only thing I didn't like about getting the X-Small was that it only comes in red and black but thats very minor. At least we can safely go outside for walks!!! Sidney is young so that will make it much easier for you Kelli!!! :D
