As the titles says, Iā€™d like to know where do you buy the toys, perches, etc... for your parrot.
Online shops and regular shops.:)

NL= the Netherlands, Europe
Parrots
Sunny a female B&G macaw;
Japie (m) & Appie (f), both are congo african grey;
All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)
Babytoys/ small kids toys (hard plastic, unpainted wood-since kids toys are usually made from beechwood here anyway) from the RedCross-shops (best buy, very cheap) and other second-life/charity stores.
Fleamarkets are a great place as well.
Always fun, just clean everything very well!

Online parrotshops always have the greatest selection in fourage-stimulation ones (the link I send you, they only sell really parrot-safe things; it is one of the few no-brainers I know)

I do not buy that many perches anymore, but I got a few hardy ones (javawood) from Marktplaats en Tweedehands. be or .nl (online secondhandstuff) --> the west-european craighslist ;)
ebay is almost worldwide,
amazon is a nightmare: try amazon.uk or even better amazon.de (uk sells but does not ship to europe about 50% of the time, amazon.de sells *and* ships to NL and B)

I make mine myself. I get the supplies from mysafebirdstore.com , makeyourownbirdtoys.com , and random supplies I find at stores around me such as craft stores.

Parrots
Senegal Parrot named "Kane"; Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure named "Bowie"; Blue Quaker Parrot named "Lita Ford"; Cockatiel named "Duff"; 8 American/English Budgie Hybrids; Ringneck Dove named "Dylan"
You can save a small fortune, about the cost of a Bachelor's Degree, by making your own bird toys. I stopped buying them about a week after I brought my Senegal home, lol...

If I donā€™t make them with old reusable toy parts, I like mysafebirdstore.com Theyā€™re generally less expensive than retail, and huge selection.

I post on neighborhood.com and ask the neighbors for their unwanted stuff or toys that my bird can safely play with. 100% free and everyone wins.
