Poor Charlie that sternum wound looks awful! Yes imping is an amazing procedure, it’s actually surprisingly quick to do - hopefully Charlie will make a full recovery and become a flying ace soon!

My Goodness...

POOR BABY...

My Baby Kise was keep falling and was broken a lot of feathers because the breeder clipped her wings' feathers. Not in the wrong way of clipping.. but she wasn't able to land when she was falling. I was afraid something like that will happen to her.. She was back and forth to her vet for pulling all those broken feathers. It took six months and now she is flying.

Imping has been around for cenuries, tyically was done on falcons and other hunting raptors. Almost a lost art. Glad your vet knows what they are doing.
