So, confession time, I've gotten lazy and uninspired in the toy department. Kermit was getting bored, but I just couldn't think of what she'd want to play with. I took a few stabs at it, but most things I made are apparently Very Scary (there is an empty pill bottle filled with cool little doodads that has remained untouched), so I decided to let someone else take a stab at entertaining my feather demon.

I just want to share some of the results ! It started off as Scary but slowly but surely I've been seeing her destroy her first toy ! I'm so proud. I haven't seen her unleash her destructive demon of chaos in a long time <3

Yellow Shoulder Amazon, Salty
Since I cant drive for ahile, this is a good dea. Name of company and webite? How much is the subscription? Salty is never scared of new toys - he knows if I hang it on his play stand its for him to destroy. Inside his caage - diff story. He has his footie toys he will throw around and bang, but new stuff just sits there.

It's a really nice find ! I love the thought they put into selecting in the box, and they even include shredded paper and use a safe bird-approved cardboard in packing so the birds can get in on the action if they want :)

It's called a squawk box. For my GCC it's $30 a month (but that's if I do it only a month at a time... it gets cheaper with 3 months at a time). For an amazon, you'd probably go with the mid-sized toys which is probably $30-40 a month for 4-6 toys and a treat :)... pretty cheap by bird standards heh

Here's a link for your convenience!

That’s a great idea :). I was recently thinking of doing a box subscription for my dog. Large dog toys are just as expensive (or even more) as bird toys, and destroyed just as fast or faster. I should do this for the birds and dog. A drawback is, you don’t get to pick and choose which is part of the fun. Then you might get stuff that you or the animals don’t like.

Amy a Blue Front 'Zon
Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
BB loves toys. Especially the ones that have colored strands of paper hanging. He will yank at the strands as he waves his arms frantically and chirps/growls lol.
Amy has quite a few toys but it is hit or miss with him
