Same here - stainless steel bowls that can be removed easily. Some will lock on the support ring, if your bird is 'FLIPPER.

Mine have cat litter trays filled to the brim so they can bathe in comfort. Rosetta has an extra deep stainless steel baking dish (she's a messy bather). The Little Gentlemen (Lovebirds) also have a large (12" x 6" x 3") container fixed to the cage at perch level.

All water containers are placed so that no perch passes above them. We don't want any 'bombs' in the clean water. Water is changed two or three times a day, depending on what the situation is. :)

Ceramic and Stainless Steel bowls for drinking and a heavy 9" glass pie dish for bathing. We have double sets so that one set can be washed in the dishwasher while the others are being used.

Noodles bathes in a large pyrex baking dish (the large, rectangular, transparent glass ones) --I don't leave it in her cage, nor does she have access to it daily. I spray her with water as well.

I think Rosetta channels an ancient Irish washerwoman. Nothing makes her happier than peeling the paper layer off of her cardboard cage-carpet and then taking it to plunge it into her pink cat-box, swooshing it around in the water until it's sodden, then swinging it around in circles with her beak as if to sprinkle the immediate area. I don't know why she does this, but oftentimes we have to change out her water because it's so full of papier mâché there's no longer room for her!

Oddly, Madge has recently begun 'washing' her cage carpet as well. Maybe it's a nesting thing? Or something?

I actually use water bottles. Each bird has two water bottles that I check daily to make sure they are still running (I also change the water daily and clean the bottles with apple cider vinegar every 3rd day).
