Can anyone tell me if ultrasonic, filter free humidifiers are safe for using in my birds room?

I need to buy one asap, and all I see on Amazon are Ultrasonic ones.

Please help?

I don't know. Sorry . I'm sure drugstores carry them, maybe the old styles.

I ended up using one around Noodles (the Safety 1st brand--I wasn't a fan of that experience because the water ran out within 8 hours and when it died it leaked on my wood floor, but she was okay<--- https://www.amazon.com/Safety-1st-Ultrasonic-Humidifier-Seafoam/dp/B07Q46XGSH (I had the slightly older model of this brand/style)

Suggestion: Wash before use and ALWAYS use distilled water and sanitize with a bird safe disinfectant (like f10 sc) every few days.

My point is, while I wouldn't use ultra-sonic insect repellents or anything like that around her, I did use an ultrasonic humidifier for about 2 years before it broke.

If you can, I would get an old-school one that doesn't heat up so you don't have to worry about teflon, "ultra sonic", etc...The old ones with the fans seemed to work better anyway, but they were a lot louder too. I bet there are old-style machines with a quieter design though.
