Question about canaries

So someone I know is rehoming thier canary and I'm wondering if I could keep it in the same room as my ringneck and budgies in the bird room. The bird will have it's own cage and all that. I'm wondering if the canary might get scared of the ringneck screams he occasionally does mainly in the morning.

I use to work at a primarily parrot store but we had canaries too. the canaries seemed unbothered by the parrots (even the loud loud cockatoos) however I would be very careful if you let your parrots roam outside of their cage. Canaries are small and wouldnt be able to defend themselves if the parrots somehow got into their cage

Oh god never knew of this disease risk I mean I've read a lot about them and one of the really big things mentioned was air sac mites. I would only let it out with supervision cause my ringneck is very aggressive.

You say 'your room.' I would hope that your parents have a choice if you're adding yet another bird to their home?
