My ringneck still hates hands but today he landed on my arm for a second cause he wanted a bath and I was carrying his water bowel. Then after I put my arm out and he landed on it again. This means he must trust me a little right. If I let him he would probably go down my arm and start biting my hands so should I use some fruit or vegtable to stop him from doing that.

Savor every sign of progress, reward with a treat! Don't be disappointed with occasional regression, bonding process is often two steps forward, one step back. Not personally familiar with ringnecks but have heard they can be more challenging to tame and maintain friendly stance.

I call that progress! Like Scott said, its a slow progressive process. Can there be lightning fast progress? Sure, but dont expect it. Doing good, I think.

Ok I'm scared and need advice today he was outside his cate and when I went to touch his feeder bowl door he aggressively flew at me with his beak and tried biting my eye I felt it but lucky it was a light tap on my eye. I'm so scared why would he/she be so cage aggressive.

Hormones? How old is he? I remember well being attacked by Syd and how scary it was. I still have a scar on my cheek! I don't know ringnecks but would it work to distract him with a dish of treats somewhere away from the cage while you did what you had to? When Syd was in attack mode I wore gloves hoodie long sleeves even a scarf at one point so he couldn't reach me. Glasses/goggles would protect your eyes.

Fortunately after a few weeks he stopped and hasn't been like it since. But it was unpleasant and made me wonder just what I had taken on. I understand your fright. Try not to be available.

He's around a year and a half ever since he has his first moult he's been very cage aggressive before that he was so friendly and loved being petted. He was in a tiny travel cage then but after his first moult I moved him into a flight cage that he has been in for the last year or so. Even though he's like this deep down inside I still love him/her and ut will always be my baby.

Hormones can so radically alter a parrots demeanor, it's literally like Dr Jeykyl/Mr Hyde. And its not only the first mating season rush that can do this. Some parrots have a relatively mild first hormone season, only to have quite pronounced shifts in later ones. The good news is that once past that season, most parrots revert to their prior behavior. The trick w/mating or hormone season is to not let new behaviors become permanent ones.
