Ever since I started buying her little treat balls containing them, I realized my kakariki just LOVES the stuff, but I've been wondering if they're fatty stuff? I know sunflower seeds are rather high in fat, so I've been limiting her to one or two per day as a little treat, but I dunno about safflowers.

I bought a big bag of them and she's chewing at it... :31:

EDIT: of course I don't mean I want to feed her excessive amounts of it but what should her limited intake be?

From what I was always told that Safflower is good for them. But too much of anything is not good... :)
