Ever heard of this movie? I just read about and decided to check it out. It features Cherry headed Conures.

Amazon.com "Prime" members can watch it from free with unlimited streaming. I'm about 8 minutes into it and already love it.

If you have a chance to see it I hope you like it.

Yes, it's a great movie! I loved it. I think Netflix still has it streaming too. There is a blue crown conure in it named Connor and i loved him.

I have seen this documentary several times now and it is awesome! I agree with ruffledfeathers. Connor is definitely my favorite. Definitely a must-see film for any parrot lover.

There is also a book. I haven't read it yet, but I'm hoping to in the near future.

I love Connor! Mingus was also one of my favorites! I found this website where you can learn more about Mark and his story. It is very interesting.

I won the book at a raffle during a bird expo... bought the movie (I don't remember where - sometime after watching it in theaters).

I first saw the movie after my trip to Hawaii (was hoping to see the flock of mitred conures there! sadly, no go!) in San Fransisco. As I was leaving the theater, I heard the flock! And you betchya, I went and saw them!

I saw the movie again after Mark Bittner came up to chat with my bird club, and we all went and saw the movie after the meeting. I cried both times at the beginning! (literally, before the movie started!)

I've seen the flock again a couple times after that and have a few photos to boot!

If you haven't seen the film or read the book, I'd recommend it! If you're ever in the area of SF, I'd also recommend going and seeing the birds, if you can find them! ;)

Yeah, I finished watching the movie a little earlier and really enjoyed it. I may have to pick up the DVD now for posterity sake. :)

I agree that Conner stole the show.
