Interesting item, though it has a couple of problems, that I can see, as does my ability to post a pic from my, it seems either my copy of or how my system interacts with parrotforums has a glitch or is outdated, but I have tried to post a pic a couple of times & everything seems to hang, including trying to enhance message text.....oh well, technology is not perfect.....

Anyway, I took a pic of the feedback I just sent their website, but nothing happened, although here's the text:

Although I may be lost here, because of my age, never having herd of your woot! brand, I do see serious problems with your cage Midwest Avian Adventures Poquito Avian Hotel Ruby - Home.Woot ; if this product is offered as a true travel cage ! ! !

All unprotected (non-curved corners and all non-protected projections (i.e. hinges and/or external brackets) are potential threats to all upholstery in the carrying/travel vehicle.

Woot is not a brand. Its a seller. Owned by Amazon. And the cage works fine, just put something underneath it. I just put it out there as a deal for anyone that wants one. Not for a critique.

I bought one when it was $49.99. It's OK quality. Was a difficult to fit all the panels together. Would definitely not pay the full price for it. I think Cages4Less was like around $120 or so at one time.

Not to start any controversy, but I did acknowledge that it was an interesting item, and I just thought that everybody may not look at everything the same way, hence, a critique is often prudent when there are things with an item that may be problematic...and yes, you can put something under the cage to prevent the possibility of seat puncture, but what about potential scuffing of upholstery when the cage is strapped in, against the seat...or...the possibility of offering a pesky parrot an opportunity to chew up your nice upholstery...or...the potential danger from flying bowls that are otherwise not fastened ? ? ? (Just wondering)

As to whether woot is a brand, actually, as I used it, both in my feedback (which was invited by woot) and reply posting here, woot is a brand...you really need to look at the context of use.....

Other than the items pointed out above, I believe I did recognize the cage and you for having posted the link to begin with, and was not complaining about it's suitability for the purpose intended...that is unless I missed something in my re-reading ! ! !

Who owns the brand had/has no bearing on my post, hence I did not delve into that.....

Enjoy your travel cage.....

For Valentino's 10 hour car drive I used the Kings aluminum travel cage. It is very well made and was more than large enough for him to be comfortable. His tail was not damaged nor his primaries. These travel cages are spendy but in the long run was worth it for me since I didn't pay for it (Ex bought it) and I also use it as a staging cage when I am cleaning Valentino's cage and have to haul it outside for power wash. This cage will last a very very long time.
