SWEET!!! That IS a steal! Our Aldi had them on sale for .75 this week, and I bought all of them.... :54: (There were only a dozen left)

Thanks for the tip, David! Our local Aldi's usually has nice produce and great prices.

My flock is running low on art supplies, I should try to pick up pomegranates for them.

I will have to check out our aldi's. I love that store! I'm a bit worried about giving Pea pomegranates though...I can't imagine what she would look like after playing with one...does it stain the feathers?

I am so jealous! I was so excited to pick up some for $1.97 each the other day:( They are so expensive here.

Leanna, Poppy loves pomegranates, she tucks them into her feathers and it does stain but it's a healthy treat and she has so much fun, I can't deprive her.

All my rescues: Pepita, Rocky and Eva, my Quaker Parrots Clover and Sweet Pea, YNA Willie Buttons, and TAG Coca.
I've tried just about everything I can think of to get my birds to eat pomegranates, but no luck. Short of running away screaming, their reaction to anything RED is very clear! Red is poison, red is yucky, red is scary, red is NOT what they want to eat. If they only knew what they are missing!
