I wonder tho... will it only be ONE egg? or will she lay more? They both are in the nesting box all day.. and come out only to eat and drink a few times.... But will she lay morE? or just one at a time?

Well I'd be happy to have one.... :54:

haha

Anymore so far?

You can probably have them adopted in no time if you put up ads... or give them to a friend or whoever.

Good luck!

How many are you going to keep?

Oh, good luck!
Hopefully you won't get any complaints!
Try putting some ads up on sites (Kijiji, local papers...)

Shouldn't one be hatching any day now? I have a question........ UMMM I'm moving to an apartment due to my mothers health its kind of a LAST MIN. Move... decision made 1 week ago.. and I will be in the Apartment on the 29th of June. Sooo ummm how should I move the Nandays and their nest? My fiance wanted to put them in the back of the uhaul in their huge cage with their nesting box attached.... I told him hell no he is insane.. but would that work? I said not enough oxygen.... The ride to the new apartment is just 30mins... but still..... Should I just trap them in the nesting box... and take the nesting box off the cage and put them in the car with me?
Also.. I'm concerned about the male... He has not came out the nesting box in days!!!! At least not that i've seen..... I think he is too scared someone is going to mess with his eggs.... What should i do? I only see the female come out and eat.... I put a pellet or 2 in the nesting box.. i'm not sure that he ate it or not though. What should i do about him not eating or drinking bc he is always in the nest....

Okay i have a question. If the eggs dont hatch.. how long do i wait till i pull them from the nest? ??? ? She laid them May 30th.... I dont believe they are going to hatch... I was told from a breeder that if they dont hatch with in 27 days then the eggs are no good.... I'd like someone elses advice....

I'm sorry to hear that. But I'm not sure what advice can be given, it's long past their incubation time - if there ever were viable embryos developing they have not survived.

We can offer sympathy, but unless you are looking for omelet recipes I'm not sure what advice can be given.
