I can't believe my baby is 2 years old!! I tell him all the time that he and I will grow old together!! :D

I had some plans to celebrate today but the weather is funky. I am taking Gil back to LBI this weekend so that will be his extended celebration at his favorite place.

We did have a little celebration with singing "Happy Birthday" (which he liked a lot actually, much more than last year!) and I let him have nibbles off a bran muffin and a few licks of Greek yogurt FroYo (given the chance I think he would have annihilated that FroYo. He was almost dancing after he tasted it!)

Here's to many many many more years together!!!

Ok, my local fireworks aren't going off tonight, boo, but it gave us an opportunity for a patriotic photo shoot.

LOVED the first set of photos, but went GA-GA over the second set. SO awesome!!

Have a GREAT time with your mom at LBI this weekend, and remind her to put on sunblock. :)

So Gil only got to spend one day on the beach during our last trip, and it was pretty windy. He did get a little flying in (on his extended lead) but mostly he just wanted to hang out with us. It was like having a child on the beach with us. I packed his food and snacks and threw extra water in the cooler for him. He knows the routine now and does his thing, running around on the blanket, going from sun to shade and back.

I actually started wondering if their little feet can get too much sun?? He kept coming
out of the shade and into the sun, and I had SPF 50 on. Anyhow, I let him be the judge of what he wanted, sun or shade, and he is fine. :)

Just a couple cell phone pics.
